We are a private practice, fee-for-service dental prosthodontic specialty practice, in which we focus on lifechanging transformations for our patients, providing dentures & implants. FOUR day work weeks, with rotating Fridays. Bilingual - Spanish speaking preferred. Our office is looking to hire a highly motivated individual to be an assistant for a busy maxillofacial/dental practice. This is not the average dental assistant position, it involves significantly less chairside assisting and more case management and organizational skills. You will be working closely with a maxillofacial prosthodontist in a busy, but fun, office. This person must be emotionally mature and possess excellent interpersonal skills. While we are willing to train the right person you MUST have some dental assisting experience. Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental office software and a good sense of humor is a plus! Hours 7:30-5:00 Monday-Thursday Candidate must have superior customer service skills and be ready to join a close- knit, high achieving team. Ideal candidate must have experience assisting on implant crowns, implant dentures, and hybrid dentures in addition to fillings, bonding, veneers, and crowns. Prior experience assisting with all day or half day full restorative cases, potentially while patients endure IV or oral sedation, is preferred.
