*Responsibilities include but are not limited to:*
* Assist chairside proficiently during a diverse range of dental surgical procedures.
* Prepare, break down, disinfect, and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments to maintain optimal hygiene standards.
* Ensure strict compliance with infection control, CDC, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations, guaranteeing a safe and secure environment for both patients and staff.
* Capture high-quality radiographic images and maintain meticulous documentation of patient records.
* Provide patients with comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care instructions to enhance their overall experience and recovery.
* Maintain accurate and thorough patient charting for effective record-keeping and continuity of care.
*Required Skills & Abilities:*
* Possession of a High School Diploma and reliable transportation is essential.
* Demonstrated motivation to learn with a genuine passion for healthcare and a commitment to direct patient care.
* Previous experience in dental or oral surgery is preferred, showcasing a solid foundation in dental assisting.
* Familiarity with WinOMS or Open Dental software is a plus, demonstrating adaptability to dental practice management tools.
* Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in email and Microsoft Office applications.
* Willingness to travel as required to support clinic operations.
* Strong follow-through, effective communication, and reliability are paramount for success in this role.
*Qualifications (must be able to obtain):*
* NH MedTech
* CPR certification to ensure readiness in emergency situations.
* Radiology certification or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire, ensuring proficiency in capturing diagnostic images.
* DAANCE certification is preferred, or the ability to achieve it within 1 year of hire, indicating a commitment to professional development in dental anesthesia and sedation.
