What You’ll Do
Establish a trusting rapport with patients, ensuring that the Ultimate Patient Experience is delivered to every patient
Educate the patients on orthodontic care and use of remote monitoring
Assist in patient care including assisting in placing and removing orthodontic appliances, and taking full records to include panos, cephs, and 3-D scans
Maintain patients’ charts and transcribe the doctor notes accurately
Perform laboratory procedures
Manage the remote monitoring dashboard
Keep chairs stocked and organized as well as clean, sterilize, and prepare the equipment
Complete a daily and weekly checklist of duties
Assist in Local Store Marketing and community events
What You’ll Need
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Some dental/orthodontic industry experience is helpful, but not required

Responsibilities:
Dental Hygienist responsibilities revolve around conducting initial patient screenings, cleaning teeth (e.g. removing plaque, SRP’s, applying fluoride), and advising & patients on oral health, preventative care and also check oral health history
Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
Sterilize dental instruments properly
Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)
Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures
Take Digital X-rays (digital sensors, Pano), Intra-oral camera available for patients education, dental impressions, charting, non-surgical periodontal therapy.
Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases (including oral cancer)
Maintain documentation and records on each patient
Placing sealants, sub-gingival medicaments, ultrasonic (Piezo) available along with traditional hand instrumentation
Maintain documentation and records on each patient
Follow up and maintain all hygiene recalls
SKILLS:
Proven experience as Dental Hygienist
In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)
Outstanding communication skills
A patient and friendly personality
Attention to detail
Valid & current TX hygienist license
Digital X-Rays
Salary: $45.00 - $52.00 per hour
Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Every other Saturday
Hygiene Experience 2 years of work history employed in General Dentistry (Preferred)
Software: Eaglesoft (Preferred)
Current Texas RDH License (Required), Hepatitis B vaccine Record, CPR N2O(Nitrous certification) Required, CPR (Required)
