We are searching for an experienced front desk staff who is reliable, capable of multitasking (sometimes), and also enjoys getting to know our amazing pool of patients! PLEASE APPLY ASAP! ^_^ The ESSENTIAL DUTIES of this role include: 1) Provide super-friendly and patient centered customer service 2) Must be able to come in by 7:35 AM 3) Check in/ out patients and update insurance/pt info. and collect payments. 4) Answer and make phone calls 5) Verify patients' dental insurance for new patients (easily achieved via fax or online) 6) Schedule and confirm appointments 7) File E-claims (usually takes 1 min end of the day) 8) Post insurance payments to accounts (takes 30min - 1 hr per week) 9) Enter appropriate data and documents into Eaglesoft 10) Check email for correspondence from specialists 11) Keep track of Front desk and bathroom supplies and let Dr. know. 12) Maintains the cleanliness and tidiness of the patient waiting room and bathroom *Other duties as assigned but not much more than what's listed above. QUALIFICATIONS 1) Dental Front Office Experience: 1 plus year required with basic knowledge of insurance plans, coverage, and procedures 2) Prefer Previous experience with 1 plus year with Eaglesoft (HUGE PLUS!) 3) Verbal and written communication skills 4) Punctual & reliable, Must come to work by 7:35 AM (M to Thurs) 5) Problem-solving skills; good judgment; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously by yourself 1) 10 days of Paid Vacation after completion of 90 days 2) Competitive Hourly Pay 3) Full-Time position 4) We work from M-Thurs (Patient hours are 8-5) min. With that in mind Dr. Newton-Booker and myself have to sought to open and dental assistant school to help train the upcoming generations in the craft. We have experienced excellent clinical assistants during our combined 40 plus years, But we have also had the experience of not so trained assistants as well.
