Associate General Dentist (1-3 days per week) About our practice: We are a well-established private dental office located in the heart of Flushing, NY, serving a large and loyal patient base with a high concentration of Chinese‑speaking patients. Our practice focuses on high‑quality, patient‑centered care in a supportive, collegial environment. Position overview: We are seeking a motivated Associate General Dentist to join our team on a part‑time basis (1–3 days per week). This position is ideal for a young dentist looking to build clinical confidence, grow a patient base in a busy neighborhood, and potentially work toward future partnership or practice buy‑out. Key responsibilities: Provide comprehensive general dental care, including exams, diagnosis, preventive and restorative procedures, endodontics, simple extractions, and prosthodontics as appropriate. More than 50% of daily work load involves preventive & maintenance. Educate patients on treatment options, preventive care, and post‑operative instructions in a clear, compassionate manner. Work collaboratively with our clinical and front office team to ensure efficient scheduling, quality care, and a positive patient experience. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and follow all infection control and OSHA/HIPAA guidelines. Schedule Part‑time: 1–3 days per week. Specific days and hours are flexible and can be discussed during the interview. Compensation 35% of collections. Daily minimum guarantee of $600 per day. Typical take‑home range for our past associates is approximately $850 to $1,200 per day, depending on schedule, procedure mix, and efficiency. Language and patient population Our patient base has a high concentration of Chinese‑speaking patients. Ability to communicate in Mandarin or Cantonese is strongly preferred but not required; interpreters or bilingual staff can assist when needed. Qualifications DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school. Active New York State dental license in good standing (or pending, with clear timeline). New graduates and early‑career dentists are welcome; mentorship can be provided. Strong communication skills, professionalism, and a genuine interest in building long‑term patient relationships.
