Location: More Smiles Dental Spa, Covington, LA We are seeking an experienced and compassionate General Dentist to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis. This opportunity is ideal for a dentist who enjoys high‑quality, everyday family dentistry—exams, restorative care, crowns, preventive services, and straightforward extractions—while building long‑term relationships with a loyal patient base. You’ll have full autonomy to practice comfortably within your current skill set, with no pressure to perform procedures outside your comfort zone. For dentists who do have interest in expanding their scope, the practice also offers advanced services such as cosmetic dentistry, implants, sleep apnea, and TMJ therapy. Our experienced team of local dentist provide support, mentorship, and optional exposure to more advanced care, allowing you to grow at your own pace if and when you’re ready. Our state‑of‑the‑art facility includes: -CEREC same‑day dentistry -iTero digital scanner -Digital X‑rays, Pano & CBCT -Soft‑tissue lasers -Intraoral cameras -Patient draw area includes Mandeville , Covington and New Orleans. Core Responsibilities with full clinical autonomy to provide General or Advanced Services -Perform routine dental check-ups and cleanings -Diagnose and treat dental issues, including cavities, gum disease, and oral infections -Provide cosmetic dentistry services, such as Invisalign and teeth whitening -Administer nitrous oxide, Botox, and Juvederm treatments -Treat headaches, TMJ disorders, and sleep apnea -Restore and place dental implants and dentures -Conduct oral surgery procedures, including extractions, bone grafting, laser dentistry, dental implant placement, and frenectomy -Educate patients on oral health and preventive care -Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans -Collaborate with the dental team to ensure the best patient outcomes Qualifications: -DDS/DMD degree from U.S. accredited dental school -AEGD/GPR residency program a plus -Active or ability to obtain Louisiana dental license - As applicable DEA and any required certifications -5 or more years professional clinical experience required More Smiles Dental Spa supported by Star Dental Partners -Our Practice Culture & Clinical Philosophy-We are grounded in a private‑practice mindset, even with the added support of a larger organization behind the scenes.
