About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our growing dental team. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing excellent patient care. You will support our dentists in delivering efficient, comfortable, and high-quality dental treatment while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all patients. Key Responsibilities - Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all dental instruments and materials are sterilized and ready for procedures. - Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures including exams, fillings, extractions, and cleanings. - Provide patient care and comfort before, during, and after treatment. - Take and develop dental X-rays as directed by the dentist. - Maintain accurate patient records and update charts with treatment information. - Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment. - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-operative care. - Ensure strict compliance with infection control, OSHA, and HIPAA standards. Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent (required). - Completion of a certified Dental Assistant program (preferred). - Current Dental Assistant license or certification as required by state regulations. - X-ray certification (required or ability to obtain). - CPR/BLS certification (preferred). - Previous dental assisting experience (1–2 years preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply). Skills & Attributes - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety. - Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude. - Knowledge of dental software systems (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is a plus.
