We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our dental startup practice in the Pearland area as Dental Assistant/receptionist. The successful candidate will be customer service-focused, highly organized and able to help patients with various administrative tasks as well as answering phones. Candidate will be involved in some administrative tasks throughout the week. We are a state of the art new practice that is very passionate about new technology and new things what we will be adding, so applicants should be comfortable with constantly changing tasks and enjoy working in a positive work environment. Candidate must have flexibility to work on weekends. Responsibilities: Having a kind and friendly personality is crucial for the culture of our practice. Take notes and follow up with patients about appointments. Screen phone calls and direct calls to appropriate personnel. Prepare patient charts and insurance information for the dentist or other staff. Ensure patient comfort during visits by handing out tissues, offering refreshments, and updating patients on wait times. Answer questions about billing, schedules, and insurance benefits. Inform patients of procedures.
