Busy private Periodontal Practice located in Port Charlotte is seeking a full time Dental Assistant. We are a well-established practice with a long-standing client base. We are looking for a friendly, outgoing, dependable person with excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. Our office hours are Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm and Friday 8:00am – 1:00pm. Duties and Responsibilities of the Dental Assistant will include but not be limited to: o Chairside assistance: Preparing instruments, assisting with procedures, maintaining sterilization protocols. o Patient care: Scheduling appointments, taking X-rays, collecting medical histories, educating patients. o Administrative tasks: Answering phones, managing appointments, filing paperwork, processing payments. Experience and skills are important. o Ability to work independently and as part of a team. o Experience in Dentrix software and Dexis for Digital Xray’s.
