You really must be a very special person who loves taking care of patients to work with Dr. Padolsky and his patients. Dr. P heals TMD patients using a holistic dental approach. Our goal is to eliminate their pain and restore each one of our patient’s sense of well-being. Treating patients who are suffering is a calling not a job. The Atlanta TMD Institute (www.atlantatmdinstitute.com) has an immediate opening for an expanded duty dental assistant to personally work with Dr. Mark Allan Padolsky treating Temporomandibular Disorder patients. Dr. Padolsky is transitioning from a forty-two (42) year old comprehensive general practice to limiting his dental practice to only treating Temporomandibular Disorders. This position will involve BOTH front and back-office duties and responsibilities. TMD is part of the brand-new Orofacial Pain field in Dentistry. There will be lots to learn. The candidate must be willing to study and learn and advance his or her skills to better serve patients. Most of the Atlanta TMD Institute’s patients have been referred by other dentists, physicians, physical therapists and even other TMD specialists. Staff must maintain a high level of professionalism and concern. Dr. Padolsky has more advanced credentials than any other dentist is Georgia and has taught in three universities. Duties involve (not all): Seating and dismissing patients Taking vital signs and range of motion measurements (MROM) Maintaining a safe working environment Helping patients with evaluation forms Educating patients about TMD and related topics Helping with the telephones New patient registration Making TMD appliance (will teach) We are very willing to train the right person.
