Alliance Dental Group is looking for an experienced Dental Assistant (DA2) for our thriving practice. The position is for Monday-Thursday. Our Dental Assistants deliver top-notch care to every patient, every day. The ideal candidate is an individual that is a team player. Candidates should have a high level of empathy, patience, quick thinking, and a willingness to want to help others. The Dental Assistant “assists” our Dentist during a variety of dental procedures. This candidate should have 1 + years of chairside experience along with Eaglesoft knowledge. Primary Job Responsibilities: Preparing exam rooms, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring necessary equipment is ready for dentist Knowledge of general anatomy of the mouth and dental terms Understanding of crowns, fillings, extractions and root canals Assisting dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating needs Taking and processing X-rays of patients Coronal polishing Perform lab tasks as instructed Greeting patients as they arrive and scheduling appointments Strong communications skills required to deliver oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Maintaining accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures Handling general administrative and other duties to maintain the dental practice *** Experience with moderate conscious sedation a plus*** Qualifications: Dental Assisting experience (DA2) 1+years Eaglesoft experience preferred Professionalism and a self-motivated Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships Proficient in taking x-rays Job Type: Full-time Expected hours: 32 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Health Insurance Paid time off
