Busy general dental office, located in old-town Dawsonville, winner of Best of Dawson in General and Cosmetic Dentistry for the last three years, winning both catagories in 2024. We are in need of an experienced Dental Assistant, who is dependable, responsible and well manicured. The ideal person would have a personality that can get along with anyone and is looking for a company to settle into and call home. The type of personality we are looking for: A self starter that is very TEAM oriented, we all have to work together to be successful! Fun and friendly personality, we strive for 5-star customer service in all situations. Ability to multi-task & prioritize, this position is very fast paced and lots of things are happening at once. Attention to detail is a MUST - everything we do in dentistry is all in the details This position will be full time Monday thru Thursday 7:30am to 4pm sometimes 4:30. Some responsibilities and expectations, not all, are listed below: Provide 4-handed dentistry seemlessly Taking X-rays Scanning with Cerec Primescan and iTero Traditional impressions Create and Explain treatment plans. Sterilization Cleaning and setting up rooms Stocking Following all HIPPA regulations at all times Problem solving Maintain professional appearance Performs other duties as assigned. Ability to adapt to change. Skills that will determine your PAY: Recent dental assisting experience, expanded duties is not required. Experience with Open Dental electronic dental records Experience with Dexis imaging software Experience iTero or Invisalign Experiece with Cerec Primescan designing.
