We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The Dental Assistant will work closely with the dentist to provide exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have experience in dental assisting, possess strong communication skills, and be knowledgeable in dental procedures and terminology. Duties: - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations - Assist the dentist during procedures - Take dental x-rays - Perform vital signs and patient assessments - Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices - Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols - Sterilize Instruments - Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy Experience: - Minimum of 1-2 year experience as a Dental Assistant - Proficient in taking dental x-rays - Familiarity with Dentrix Software preferred (not required, willing to learn) - Strong knowledge of dental instruments, anatomy and terminology - Skilled in performing vital signs and patient assessments - Ability to assist with various dental procedures Skills: - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Ability to work well in a team environment - Knowledge of dental systems and equipment - Understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance If you are a dedicated Dental Assistant looking for an opportunity to contribute to a positive patient experience, we encourage you to apply.
