Our office is seeking an Insurance Coordinator to join our busy specialty practice. As an Insurance Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the maximum benefits from their insurance coverage while delivering exceptional patient experiences. Your Responsibilities: *Verify patients' dental insurance coverage and benefits. *Communicate with insurance companies to obtain pre-authorizations for treatments. *Assist patients in understanding their insurance coverage and estimated costs. *Submit accurate and timely insurance claims electronically and via mail. *Follow up on outstanding insurance claims, appeals, and denials. *Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental insurance policies and industry changes. *Collaborate with the front desk and clinical teams to ensure accurate patient information and treatment codes. *Provide excellent customer service by addressing insurance-related inquiries and concerns. *Educate patients on available payment options for uncovered services. As one of the essential members of our office, you will also help to facilitate/coordinate other office responsibilities as needed. We are currently seeking a Dental Insurance Coordinator to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring smooth insurance operations for our patients. As a vital part of our practice, you will be responsible for managing insurance claims, facilitating billing processes, and providing top-notch support to our patients regarding their insurance-related inquiries. You also have the following: *Previous experience in a similar role equating to 1-2 years of experience in similar work *High school diploma or equivalent. *Previous experience as a dental knowledge is preferred *Dentalxchange knowledge preferred *Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. *Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation. *Proficiency in dental practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite. *Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. *Problem-solving skills to navigate insurance claim discrepancies and denials. *High level of professionalism and a patient-centric attitude. *Ability to work a full-time, in office, Monday-Friday position If this sounds like you, you will fit right in with the team!
