Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team, who can contribute to an upbeat and positive office culture. Responsibilities: - Perform dental prophylaxis, including scaling & root planing and polishing teeth - Take digital dental x-rays and intra-oral photos - Perform comprehensive periodontal assessments - Administer local anesthesia as necessary - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Dentrix Ascend or similar dental software - Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique - Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality - Assist with front office duties as needed Experience: - 1 year experience ideal, but not required - Proficient in performing vital signs and patient assessment - Knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions We offer competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
