Description

Position: The Receptionist/Treatment Coordinator performs a variety of functions and data entry duties for patients in an engaging, welcoming, and warm manner. She/he answers telephones, schedules appointments, handles patient finance at time of service, maintains patient records, and coordinates patient flow through office. She/he helps to promote a safe, pleasant, and harmonious environment for the team and patients. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Answering calls, scheduling appointments, sends out patient appointment reminders, connection calls with new patients prior to office visit 2. Acting as a liaison between the practice doctors , lab technician, dental assistants and the patients 3. Checking and responding to emails appropriately 4.Ensuring all the necessary documentation is available for patients to ensure a smooth intake process for new and existing patients 5.Ensure patients information and all necessary documents are in patient charts / pertinent information is available in the patients chart 6.send emails and faxes 7.Presenting treatment plans and discussing financial options 8. Managing the doctor's schedule for maximum productivity 9. All other duties pertinent to the smooth functioning of the practice from the entry point to exit General: - Perform any reasonable request from manager and/or doctors. - Responsible for complying with OSHA, HIPAA security, and privacy policies at all times. - Writing Patient and Doctor Consultation Treatment Proposals -Open Dental software -Microsoft systems Skills and Qualifications: The ideal candidate must have exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail Must have dental office experience, ideally and medical terminology in Oral Surgery or other implant/denture surgical specialty office Dental office: 3 years > (Required) Salary: Based on years of experience Benefits: -Employee monthly bonuses -Health/dental/Vision insurance -Paid time off/Sick time off -Paid Holidays -Uniform Purchase Reimbursement Schedule: 8 hour shift (Mon-Thurs/Every Other Fri) 7:45-5:00pm Education: High school or Higher (Preferred)
