Seeking full time dental assistant to join our growing, purpose- driven team in Chevy Chase, Maryland. Responsibilities: Dental assistants are responsible for providing Provide hands-on support during surgeries to the dentist and other assistants so they can provide the highest level of care to our patients. Skills and Experience: • Ability to ensure patients feel comfortable during their appointment and are well informed about their treatment. • Ability to work with operate and troubleshoot a variety of dental, scheduling, and other organization software in the office. • Ability to organize the workspace to maintain a clean, safe, and healthy working environment workspace for our patients, dentists and assistants. • Knowledge of dental instruments • Experience administering digital x-rays • Ability to advise patients on postoperative instructions and on recommended oral hygiene. • Experience with sterilization or rooms and dental instruments. • Dental assisting 1 year License/ Certification: • X-ray certification for the state of Maryland (required) • Registered Dental Assistant License (preferred) This job is ideal for someone who is: • Dependable and reliable • People and team oriented- enjoys interacting with patients and working on group projects. • Thrives in a fast- paced environment. • Ability to multi-task efficiently • Strong written, verbal, and customer service skills with the desire to learn and grow with the team.
