Description
We seek a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our dental professionals and providing exceptional patient care. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the dentists and hygienists in various dental procedures while maintaining a comfortable and welcoming environment for our patients. Responsibilities: Prepare treatment rooms for various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready. Assist dentists and hygienists during dental procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs. Take dental X-rays under the dentist's supervision, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety. Sterilize and maintain dental instruments following the clinic's infection control protocols. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions. Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic health records as required. Provide exceptional customer service, making patients feel comfortable during their dental visits. Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow to ensure the efficient operation of the clinic. Handle administrative tasks, including billing, insurance claims, and managing patient records. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assistant training program is preferred. Proven experience as a Dental Assistant is a plus, but we are open to training motivated individuals passionate about dentistry. Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with patients and team members. Proficiency in using dental software or the ability to learn new software quickly. Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment, following all infection control protocols.
