Dental Office Patient Care Coordinator (Front Desk Administrator) - Minimum Experience - 2 years Are you passionate about providing exceptional patient care? We are currently seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our dental office as a Patient Care Coordinator. Responsibilities will vary based off of the position: Greet and welcome patients in a warm and friendly manner, ensuring a positive first impression. Schedule appointments and manage the dental office appointment calendar efficiently. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries, providing accurate information and addressing patient concerns. Verify and update patient information, including insurance coverage and personal details, ensuring accurate record-keeping. Coordinate with dental professionals and assist in managing patient flow throughout the office. Explain treatment options, costs, and payment plans to patients, ensuring they fully understand their dental care. Follow up with patients regarding appointments, treatment plans, and outstanding balances. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a seamless and pleasant patient experience. Maintain a clean and organized reception area, including managing patient records and paperwork. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus. Previous experience in a dental office or medical is required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and team members. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to effectively handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities. Proficient computer skills and experience with dental software systems. Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes is desirable. Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to provide outstanding patient care. Professional appearance and demeanor, with the ability to maintain confidentiality. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are an advantage.
