Our dental office team is looking for an experienced, patient-focused, and enthusiastic dental assistant to support our patients and aid Dr. Thompson in various procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. This individual will be responsible for setting up equipment and instruments for appointments, carrying out clinical and technical procedures under Dr. Thompson's guidance, and ensuring the comfort and safety of our patients. Additional responsibilities include managing supply inventory, ordering replacements, making post-op calls, sterilizing instruments, taking x-rays, impressions, and scans, creating temporary crowns, and performing daily lab and operatory setup and shutdown procedures. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, possess strong computer skills, be self-motivated, and thrive as a collaborative team member. They should be able to effectively plan work tasks to enhance the clinic's efficiency. We are seeking a career-focused, mature, dedicated, and reliable individual who can assist in chair-side patient care, treatment planning, and patient education. Qualifications: - Proficient in computer skills - Capable of documenting and charting for Dr. Thompson - Experience with digital scans (i-Terro) - Minimum of 3 years of chair-side dental assisting experience - Nitrous certification (preferred) Benefits: - 6 paid holidays - Paid vacation and sick time - Dental benefits - Monthly bonuses and incentives Pay: Competitive and based on experience Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 7:45 am to 5:00 pm with a one-hour lunch break from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm
