Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Full/Part time skilled and motivated Dental Chairside Assistant to join our dynamic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to the delivery of outstanding dental care. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dentists and ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our patients throughout their treatment journey. Responsibilities: - Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring efficient workflow and patient comfort. - Collaborate effectively with other members of the dental team to ensure seamless patient care and positive work environment. - Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with strict infection control protocols. - Utilize iTero digital scanning technology for precise impressions and treatment planning. - Experience with Zoom whitening would be plus - Fabricate high-quality temporary crowns and bridges using both chairside and laboratory techniques. - Take dental x-rays and impressions as required, maintaining accurate chart records and adhering to radiation safety protocols. - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, treatment plans, and post-operative care instructions with empathy and clarity. - Uphold confidentiality and compliance with all regulatory guidelines and safety protocols. Qualifications: - Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting program - At least 2 years' experience - Proven expertise in utilizing iTero digital scanning technology for precise impressions and treatment planning. - Demonstrated ability to fabricate temporary crowns and bridges with proficiency in chairside and laboratory techniques. - Familiarity with Open dental - Excellent communication skills with a patient-centric approach, capable of effectively educating patients on oral health practices and treatment plans. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment. - Commitment to upholding strict infection control protocols, maintaining a safe and hygienic clinical environment, and adhering to professional standards of practice.
