Seeking full time Dental Assistant in Alamo Heights/Quarry area for an elite, well established multi-disciplinary Prosthodontic practice, available immediately. Hours 7:30-5:00 Monday-Thursday Candidate must have superior customer service skills and be ready to join a close- knit, high achieving team. Ideal candidate must have experience assisting on implant crowns, implant dentures, and hybrid dentures in addition to fillings, bonding, veneers, and crowns. Prior experience assisting with all day or half day full restorative cases, potentially while patients endure IV or oral sedation, is preferred. Candidates must be a reliable self-starter with high initiative. Computer software experience preferred, Dexis and PracticeWorks, but not required. Must be willing and ready to learn, with a focus on inter-team communication and continuous patient satisfaction. Tasks include but may not be limited to: - Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatory - Obtain patients' dental records - Take digital x-rays - Maintain patient comfort (keep patients' mouths dry and clear) - Prepare materials for impressions and restorations - Sequence treatment plans - Communicate with front office staff regarding treatment completed and treatment needed - Order clinical supplies Applicant requirements: - 5yr+ assisting experience - Radiology license - CPR/BLS certified - Registered Dental Assistant within the state of Texas Competitive compensation and benefits package.
