Dencare Smile Center - North Chicago, IL
Looking for a doctor with gentle hands and a warm heart. Our practice provides all forms of treatment other than IV sedation. We are super generalists who refer very little out of the office. We pride ourselves in being able to provide complete treatment for the patients in our busy practice. It's satisfying to be able to do so from a professional standpoint, and for the personal pride of completing extensive treatment plans. We have a great staff and we have a lot of fun working together. We have 2 doctors providing orthodontics and oral surgery. For doctors interested in becoming more proficient in doing surgery, we are capable of mentoring in 3rd molar removals, and more. Relatively soon, one of the ortho providers would like to retire. A new associate interested in ortho would have all CE courses in ortho completely paid for. Orthodontics provides about 25% of our revenue. With some Medicare plans having a yearly allowance of $5000, and coverage of 100 % for everything, we've been swamped with endodontics, crowns, prosthetics and more. Having been in the same location for nearly 50 years, a high percentage of our patients are referred to us by friends and family members. Many of them are FFS without insurance. Our discount fees for the uninsured are significantly higher than PPO fees, and require payment at the time of service. We have a CBCT and Itero. We are fair and honest and do not do and charge for questionable procedures as certain DSO's do. We are busy, and we have a fun work place with a well trained and competent staff.Dental Assistant
