The first half of 2025 continued the results of 2024 with growing practices with younger doctors attracting the highest bids. Several IDSOs were eagerly bidding with new capital provided by recent recapitalizations and new IDSOs with quality financial sponsors joined the fray.
LPS signed over $300 million of new clients, many of which are concerned about flatlining or declining collections due to stressed US consumers. Always better to monetize during increasing collections… Other doctors were eager to diversify their personal investment portfolios in light of the equity market convulsions in Q2 with cash now safely yielding 5%+.
