We are excited to announce that our dental practice in Grand Prairie is seeking a front office assistant to join our team! We are a privately owned office that prides itself in developing lasting relationships with our patients and community. Therefore, we are looking for a highly motivated, upbeat individual who will provide premium care to our patients!
Ideally, we would love to find someone proficient in front office duties including treatment planning, scheduling, recare, insurance verification, check in/ check out, and answering phones. Our office hours are Monday-Thursday 7:45 am to 5:00 pm.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Excellent telephone and customer service skills
Dental experience is a plus
Great spoken and written communication skills
Proficient computer skills
Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining front office administration duties for the clinical practice
Scheduling patient appointments
Patient and insurance verification
Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
Answer, screen and manage incoming phone calls
Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
Greet new and existing patients with positivity
Register new patients according to established office protocols
Assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation
Enter all relevant patient information into data system
Confirm upcoming appointments and recalls according to office protocol
Check daily appointment schedule
Fill in cancellations and no-shows
Maintain a professional reception area
Additional duties as required
Schedule:
Full time
Monday-Thursday (7:45 am to 5:00 pm)
