Office Manager Dental Front Office
Birmingham Dental, PLLC/Birmingham Dental, PLLC - Birmingham, AL
We are looking for a friendly and motivated assistant office manager to join our team with ambitions to grow into an office manager role! This role will report directly to our office manager and we are looking for "self-starters" who are motivated, detail oriented, and punctual. You will be one of the first interactions many patients have with our office and we are looking for someone who takes pride in that. The most important qualification is being able to be friendly and empathetic towards patients while still being firm in enforcing our office policies and taking payment. Roles and responsibilities: - Greet patients and verify that all paperwork is up to date at check-in. - Take payment up front if patient is there for treatment with Dentist. - Verify patients insurance eligibility, coverage, and remaining benefits. - Schedule patients per our office scheduling guidelines. - Answer incoming calls and emails. - Call patients prior to appointment to let them know what their estimated out of pocket cost will be. - Check patients out and take any additional patient portion payments. - Present treatment plans to patients and walk them through the treatment timeline. Compensation: $18-$24/hr (depending on experience). Responsibilities will include providing superior patient care, assisting the doctor, prepping patients for brackets and bands, adjustments, taking digital x-rays, pictures, and impressions using an Itero scanner, and general knowledge of braces and Invisalign, and OSHA and HIPAA compliance. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are a must. Our ideal candidate must be a team player, be fun and outgoing, be dependable and punctual, and be able to make our patients feel appreciated and loved! One year of dental experience is required.
